This is exciting news. Our spore-themed horror anthology, Dark Spores: Stories We Tell After Midnight Volume 4, is now in the Georgia PINES system!
You can even find it on their website right here. What this means is that Dark Spores is now more accessible than ever before, as it can be checked out by people throughout the state of Georgia.
PINES (Public Information Network for Electronic Services) is Georgia’s “borderless library” system that allows PINES card holders free access to books and other materials in nearly 300 library branches and affiliated service outlets throughout the state. 51 of the 60 regional library systems (a total of 149 counties) are members of PINES.
PINES is a program of the Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS), which itself is a unit of the University System of Georgia. PINES policies are governed by the PINES Executive Committee.
Not only does this help ensure access to the anthology, but now every single author involved has a link on the PINES page, listing any other book they have in the PINES system, meaning every author now has at least 1 book listed. Since one of our goals is to be accessible, and another being to help authors from all levels in their writing journey, being accepted into the PINES system is a huge leap forward and will help us get into other libraries.
This news is very exciting and we want to give a huge thanks to author Rob Grimoire for all his hard work making this happen! Show him some thanks by visiting his site and maybe even buying him a coffee!
